Arnold van der Vegt – General Manager
Arnold has a career background as a Supply Consultant covering all areas of inventory, warehousing, purchasing and cataloguing. His experience was honed as a Supply Officer in The RAAF for 20 years and then in private industry including manufacturing and mining. His career is built on the experience gained by hands on application which enables him to readily assimilate to the client’s requirements. The last 12 years include the provision of cataloguing consultancy services. This covered training and data systems analysis to ensure that the data facilitates and optimises the functionality of the host system to provide real productivity gains. He is a member of CIPS Australia.
Dennis Allsopp – Manager, Systems & Development
Dennis has over 25 years of supply experience, with a primary focus in inventory cataloguing since 1985. He has also provided extensive consultancy services in inventory optimisation. Dennis is the architect of the Epica Catalogue Standards and has designed and developed numerous innovative software applications which enable Epica Solutions to provide cost effective client solutions. A member of both APICS and UNSPSC, Dennis holds the Advanced Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management through the University of Central Queensland and is a recognised ISO8000-110 Data Quality Manager.
Andrew Brittain - Victorian Manager
Andrew (Andy) Brittain has an extensive background in Defence Codification Services having being involved with NCB's in the UK, Spain, Australia and South Africa. Andy started his career in the British Army as an instrument technician with the Royal Electrical Engineers. Following his military service Andy has been involved with the NATO Codification system as a practitioner, team manager and managing consultant. With the advent of increased Defence spending Codification and Cataloguing services Epica views the addition of Andy's skills and experience as fundamental to the development of future business.
David Messer – Managing Consultant (Western Australia)
David is a highly experienced procurement executive, who has held senior positions in the public and private sector for more than 30 years. That experience includes more than ten years as a senior manager responsible for the provision of cataloguing services to the resource sector, water, gas and electricity utilities, the health sector and many government agencies Australia-wide. A former National President and a long serving member of the Executive of the Australian Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management and a life member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS). David has a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the application of good supply management practices, with a particular interest in cataloguing.
EPICA Solutions draws on the experience and expertise of a support team of highly disciplined and experienced practitioners to provide a uniquely focused range of services in all widely accepted standards, (e.g. UNSPSC, OBI, NSC, along with those variations which suit specific applications) and blends these capabilities with a capacity for supplier enablement.
